TSR Photographer and artist, Marty Crosley, was born in Chico, Ca. to Team Ropers Dolly and James Crosley. He grew up on a ranch and at the age of six he could already be found working the chute at local ropings. Having a strong work ethic instilled in him from an early age and a talent for art his photography was first published in a local magazine when he was in highschool. After graduation he moved to San Francisco to pursue a career in art. While going to art school he landed a job building sets, props, and models for a number of top photographers in the advertising industry. It was then that he really honed his photoraphic skills and got the hands on experience that has made him the photographer he is today. In the late 90's after years of working in the fast paced advertising industry he took a hiatus. It was then that he decided to concentrate all his efforts into his photography. His attention was soon caught by animal and pet photography. He gained national recognition for his billboard ad campaign featuring shelter dogs. His photography has been in high demand ever since. Things have come full circle as Marty has returned to the Chico area. Able to once again live on a ranch. He began photographing his horses and then those of his friends. One thing led to another, thus the creation of TSR Photography, specializing in equine photography and design by horse people for horse people. |
